Teach your AI agents from PDF, Word and text files you already have.
Upload a document and Prativani reads the text out of it for your AI agents.
Before you start
- A PDF, DOCX or TXT file of up to 10 MB. A scanned PDF has no text to read; use a text-based file.

Go to Knowledge, open the Documents tab and click Upload document.

Choose your file. The Title is filled in from the file name; change it if you like.

Optionally, add Labels to limit which AI agents use it. See Organise sources with labels.

Click Create.
You should see“Document uploaded and processing started!” and the document marked Processing…, then Ready.
Check what was read
Section titled “Check what was read”Click View content on the document’s row. The Extracted text tab shows the text your AI agents search, in numbered pieces.
Update a document
Section titled “Update a document”On the document’s page, open the Settings tab, choose Replace with a new file (optional), and click Save. The document keeps its labels; your AI agents answer from the new file once it’s read. Documents have no version history.
Common problems
Section titled “Common problems””No readable text found in this document”
The file is probably a scan or a picture of text. Upload a text-based PDF, a DOCX or a TXT file instead.
”This document holds too much text to index”
Split it into smaller documents and upload them separately.
