PrativaniVerify your business for a country
Get your business approved by the carrier so you can hold phone numbers in countries outside the US and Canada.
Outside the US and Canada, the carrier checks your business before you can hold numbers in a country. You enter your business details once; each country you add is approved on its own.
Before you start
- You’re the workspace owner.
Get approved for a country
Section titled “Get approved for a country”You do this while adding a number: choose a country under Needs approval first and follow the steps. See Add a phone number. The carrier usually decides in 1–3 business days, and Prativani emails you when it has.
The Business verification page
Section titled “The Business verification page”The Business verification page holds your business details and every country you’ve applied for. Open it from the email Prativani sends you (“Open business verification”), or from the Go to Business verification button when you add a number.
- The Details tab shows your business details. Click Edit to change them.
- The History tab lists every change, submission and decision.
Each country under Countries shows where it stands:

| Not submitted | Click Continue to finish the steps and submit. |
| In review | Wait for the carrier. To change your details first, click Withdraw. |
| Approved | You can buy numbers there. |
| Needs details | Click Continue and add what’s listed under “Still needed”. |
| Rejected | Read the reasons on the row, click Continue, fix them and submit again. |
Keep a country approved
Section titled “Keep a country approved”The carrier checks approvals again over time. When an approved country needs your attention, its row says so and shows Renew or Resubmit:
- “Action needed by” a date: click Renew before then. After the date, you can’t buy new numbers there until you renew. Prativani emails you when a date appears, a week before it, and when it passes.
- The carrier withdrew the approval: your numbers there still receive calls, but can’t place them. They show Calling paused. Click Renew.
- You changed your business details: click Resubmit to send the new details.
Your numbers keep working while a renewal is reviewed.
Change your business details
Section titled “Change your business details”Click Edit on the Details tab, make the change and click Save. Once your details are verified, changing your legal name, business type, registration numbers, address or representative needs a document showing the change. Your current details keep working until the change is decided.
You can’t change your details while a country is In review. Withdraw it first, or wait for the decision.
