Pause, set as default or disconnect a connection
Stop new messages for a while, choose which number, Page or account you send from, or remove one.
Each WhatsApp number, Facebook Page and Instagram account you connect is listed on its channel page under Settings›Channels. The buttons on its row let you manage it.
Before you start
- Disconnecting also needs permission to remove that channel.
Pause and resume
Section titled “Pause and resume”Click Pause to stop new messages from arriving through that connection. Nothing is removed, and the number, Page or account stays yours. Click Resume to start receiving again.
Make default
Section titled “Make default”Click Make default to choose the connection Prativani sends from when it starts a conversation, for example a WhatsApp campaign. The row is marked Default sender. A paused connection can’t be the default.
Replies always go out from the connection the customer wrote to. On Facebook and Instagram, a conversation you start also goes out from the Page or account the customer last wrote to.
Disconnect
Section titled “Disconnect”Click Disconnect to remove a connection. It happens straight away, without asking you to confirm.
- On Facebook and Instagram, Disconnect is on each Page or account.
- On WhatsApp, Disconnect is on the business, above its numbers. It removes every number under that business.
Conversations stay in your inbox. The number, Page or account is freed, so it can be connected again here or in another workspace. To bring it back, connect it again from the channel page.
