Add your website

Point Prativani at your help centre or docs site, choose which pages to read, and keep them in sync.

Prativani reads the pages of your website and keeps them up to date, so your AI agents answer from what your site says today.

Before you start

Every planNeeds: Sources: Write
  • The address of your help centre or docs site, such as https://example.com/help.

  1. Go to Knowledge and click Add website.

  2. Connect: type the Website address and click Next. Prativani checks the address and tells you what it found. You can add a Name (optional).

  3. Pages: under How far do we reach?, choose:

    • Just this page: only the address you entered.
    • This section: the address and everything below it. Pointed at example.com/help, it reads /help/billing but not /pricing. Right for most help centres.
    • Entire website: every page on the site.

  4. Still on Pages, if you need to, narrow it down further:

    • Which parts of the site?: tick sections, or type paths such as /help, to read only those.
    • Skip these paths: leave parts out, such as /blog.
    • Additional addresses: full addresses of pages nothing links to.
    • Turn on Skip addresses with a query string for most sites, so the same page isn’t read many times over.

  5. Target: add Labels if only some AI agents should use this site, and choose how often to re-read it under Sync schedule. Every 2 weeks suits most help centres.

  6. Review: check the addresses under What we’ll sync. Under Other websites this site links to, tick only websites you own that should be included too.

  7. Click Add website.

    You should see

    “Website added — we’re indexing it now!” and the website marked Processing…, then Ready.

What happens next

Section titled “What happens next”

Open the website from the Websites tab to see the pages that were read. See Keep your website in sync.

Your plan sets how many websites you can add and how many pages each one can have.

Common problems

”We couldn’t reach that address to check it”

You can still add the website; Prativani tries again on the first sync. Check the address opens in your browser and isn’t behind a sign-in.

Pages are missing

Check How far do we reach? and Skip these paths. Pages nothing links to need adding under Additional addresses.
