Contacts and visitors

The people you talk to, what Prativani knows about each one, and how a visitor becomes a contact.

1 min read

Everyone who talks to you is listed under Contacts, on two tabs.

Before you start

Every planNeeds: Contacts: Read
  • Contacts are people you can reach: they wrote from WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram or email, were verified on your website, or you added or imported them.
  • Visitors are people who browsed or chatted on your website without sharing an address you can trust.

A visitor becomes a contact by itself once they share one. Visitors with no conversations who haven’t been seen for 90 days are removed automatically.

Go to Contacts and search by name, email or phone. The list shows each person’s addresses, the channels they used and when they were Last seen.

Click a name to open their page:

  • their addresses, marked Verified where they’re proven;
  • saved details, such as values a workflow stored;
  • their browser, device, location and the pages they visited;
  • every past conversation, which you can click to read;
  • notes your team has added about them.

From here you can Message them, Call them if you have a phone number in their country, Merge a duplicate, Edit or Delete them.

If Prativani thinks two people are the same, the page says “Possible duplicate”. Click Review to merge them. See Merge duplicate contacts.
