How duplicates are handled
Section titled “How duplicates are handled”A row that matches someone you already have, by phone or email, is linked to them instead of creating a duplicate. They gain any new address from your file; their name isn’t changed. If a row’s phone belongs to one contact and its email to another, the two are merged.
Only name, email and phone are imported. Other columns are ignored.
